New factory for Walter Maschinebau in 2007

Walter Maschinenbau GmbH is to move out of Walter AG’s Tübingen factory in Germany and into a new €5 million factory incorporating production facility, demonstration centre and office/administration area.

Scheduled for completion in 2007, the new 5,000 m² purpose-built site will remain in Tübingen, will be located on the Neckaraue industrial estate and secure the future of the company’s 160-strong workforce.

* Walter Maschinenbau’s activities were taken over by Körber Schleifring GmbH in 2004.

Körber Schleifring UK of Honiley near Kenilworth handles sales and service for the UK population of Walter Helitronic tool grinders (pictured), Helicheck and Toolcheck measuring machines, as well as Woodtronic saw blade grinders.
