Name change for Victor Europe

In an effort to allow potential customers to understand the nature of its business, products, and the geographical areas covered, Rochdale-based machine tool company Victor Europe has changed its name to Victor CNC (UK) Limited.

Company managing director Roland Willott explained: "Due to the fact that each new generation of Victor Machine Tools is becoming more and more high-tech, after much deliberation we decided that the name Victor CNC (UK) Limited, best described the nature of our business. Also, the 'Europe' suffix of our previous name reflected the fact that our sales remit once encompassed the whole of Europe. As our sales area now consists of the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, we felt that the all embracing 'Europe' element of our previous name could cause confusion."

Mr Willot continued. "Under our new more descriptive company name, we will continue to provide our winning combination of high quality innovative CNC machine tools, highly skilled services and first class facilities, enabling Victor CNC (UK) Limited to offer high quality, cost effective products and efficient service to our growing customer base."

With its Headquarters in Rochdale, Lancashire, five minutes from the M62, Victor CNC (UK) Limited, is an associated, subsidiary company of Victor Taichung Machinery Works Co. Limited. Helped by the excellent reputation of its comprehensive range of machine tools, the company has experienced substantial growth since its establishment in Rochdale.
