More the 10,000 Mori Seiki NL orders now taken

  • More the 10,000 Mori Seiki NL orders now taken
Mori Seiki has now taken orders for more than 10,000 NL Series CNC lathes.

The NL Series made its debut in June 2004 and reached the 5,000 mark in November 2006 before topping 10,000 in September.

The NL Series saw the introduction of the world's first built-in motor for rotary tools, a development that eliminated vibration by one third, temperature increase by nine tenths and increased milling capability by a factor of four.

In addition, the NL Series saw the width of guideways increased by 30 per cent, compared with conventional models, delivering greater in-cut stability.
