Metrology solutions from Wenzel at MACH 2010

Wenzel UK will be exhibiting a range of metrology solutions including new innovations in CT scanning and Mobile 3D laser scanning, on stand 5639, in Hall 5, at MACH 2010.

The Wenzel ScanTec CoRE-DS is a white light scanning solution designed for fast, accurate measurement of turbine blades, aerofoils and blisk type parts. This innovative system improves cycle times and removes the need for tip radius compensation when measuring this type of component. This is a dynamic 5-axis system requiring no air, so can be used anywhere in the production process.

Wenzel UK will also show the Renishaw PH20 probe on a Wenzel XO55 CMM. Derived from the Revo technology, this probe minimises CMM motion, so reducing dynamic CMM errors and utilises the rapid head touches routines, that result in improved accuracy and throughput. The PH20 will be shown with OpenDMIS measurement software.

Also on show, the Wenzel Volumetrik exaCT, a compact industrial CT scanner, sets a new price to performance ratio, allowing full internal and external analysis of components. While, the MobileScan3d, a CNC non contact laser scanning system, is particularly suited for reverse engineering, as well as, full Inspection to CAD data.
