Metrology Direct gains Wolpert Wilson distributorship

Metrology Direct has been appointed Wolpert Wilson Instruments distributor for the UK and Ireland.

With 75 years of hardness testing experience, Wolpert Wilson Instruments, part of the Instron Group, is a manufacturer of hardness testers, with products that span both the volume and high end automated markets.

The Wolpert Wilson range takes in bench-mounted Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers and Micro-Vickers hardness testing systems, together with portables, test blocks, indenters and durometers.

Metrology Direct, based in Gloucester, was established in 2000 and claims to have grown to become one of the largest independent suppliers of precision measuring instruments, systems and solutions. Its customer base includes blue-chip companies from aerospace, defence, medical and automotive industries.

A wide range of Wolpert Wilson products is on display for demonstration at Metrology Direct's Technical Centre in Gloucester, while on-site demonstrations and trials can be carried out at customers' premises, if desired.
