Mastercam supports Mori Seiki NT range with new post-processors

CNC Software Inc, developer of Mastercam CAD/CAM software, now offers post-processors in support of all 54 model configurations in Mori Seiki's NT mill-turn range.

CNC Software is one of a number of CAM firms that has worked with Mori Seiki Digital Technology Laboratory (DTL) in West Sacramento, California, USA - a software development company established in 2000 - to develop post-processors.

“The co-operation between Mori Seiki and CNC Software was critical in the development of a post-processor for the NT machines,” says Jim Evans, support services manager at CNC Software. “A proven post-processor is crucial and eliminates a major variable when programming a machine as complex as the NT.“
