Machine tool sales recovering for the 600 Group

  • Machine tool sales recovering for the 600 Group
The 600 Group has seen sales recovering by 20 per cent since last September, reflecting early signs of recovery within the machine tool industry.

The news comes as statistics, last week, confirm the UK recession is officially over.

Only a month ago, the 600 group reported second-half losses of £1.7 million, however, although the market remains tough, their order book for the machine tool market is stable and they expect it to remain so for the rest of the financial year.

Trading performance in the 14 weeks to 2nd January improved, sales were particularly strong in the United States and underlying revenue was also 25 per cent above the previous quarter.
