MACH 2010 - Roemheld's "try before you buy" grips visitors
The ability to try before purchasing proved to be a big draw on the Roemheld stand at MACH 2010. Roemheld offered potential customers a week's free trial of a workholding vice or zero point system so they could see first hand how it would benefit production.
The layout of the stand into automotive, aerospace, medical, energy and subcontract/manufacturing sectors, as well as fixture building and design, went down well with visitors who were able to quickly find the right workholding products and solutions for their industry.
Bill Neal, managing director of Roemheld (UK), commented: "The sector-driven layout of the stand was very successful. We also had a lot of interest in our new hydraulic workholding elements as well as the new range of 5-axis vices and jaws we had on display. We weren't sure how the week would go with the current economic climate but were very pleased with the attendance and with the leads generated."
