LVD reports three orders taken following attendance by companies at its December open house.

“The Open House days were a resounding success we had just over 30 companies attend over the three days and have received three orders so far directly from the open house days, one for an Orion CNC laser cutting machine, one for a new Parma 1212 CNC turret punch press machine which was launched at the open house and the third was for a PPEB Easy Form Laser CNC pressbrake,” said Matthew Fowles, sales and marketing manager speaking after the event. “We are also expecting in the next few of weeks a couple of further orders for a laser and another Easy Form Laser CNC Pressbrake. Compared to this time last year the market confidence seems to be much better,” he added. This success follows a previous good performance announced during the show. LVD reported strong performance and substantial growth in the second and third quarters of 2005 with the company having taken orders worth in excess of £2 million for equipment including four laser systems and eight advanced press brakes. Customers are responding the LVD’s ‘Art to Part’ message which brings together the software and machine technical features that allow companies to go from CAD drawings to complete profiled and formed parts in hours rather than days.
