Lantek appoints new COO

Lantek has appointed Rodrigo Argandoña as the company’s new chief operations officer. Forming part of the company’s steering committee, Argandoña will report directly to Alberto López de Biñaspre, CEO at Lantek.

Argandoña has over 30 years of experience in leading teams involved in the development and implementation of global software solutions. Since 2016, he has been managing the operations of General Electric (grid automation) for southern Europe, achieving a turnover of more than $50 million annually in solutions and services. Previously, Argandoña was vice-president at Aclara Technologies where he collaborated as design engineering manager in the successful growth of a business spin-off.

Argandoña qualified as a computer engineer at the University of Mondragón, and holds an MSc in Computing Science from Staffordshire University in the UK. Lantek’s new COO is currently completing an MBA at the University of Mondragón.

It has been decided that Argandoña will be responsible for international operations in the 15 countries and 20 offices where Lantek has service teams and local projects. As Lantek’s new COO, he will be in charge of streamlining the execution of projects via the global project office.
