Kaltenbach to focus on sawing efficiency gains at MACH 2010

  • Kaltenbach to focus on sawing efficiency gains at MACH 2010
Kaltenbach will announce several new machines on stand 4638, at MACH 2010, as well as the latest models of established ranges, including bandsaws with IBC (Intelligent Blade Control), KKS precision circular blade machines and a Stierli-Berger small footprint bending machine for light fabrication.

The Behringer HBM SC (Speed Cutting) straight-cutting machine, claimed to be the world's fastest production sawing machine, will be unveiled. More information on which can be found in the product section here.

Also unveiled will be what is claimed to be the world's fastest structural steel, mitre-cutting bandsaw, the Kaltenbach KBS1051. It features a patented, intelligent, dynamic blade approach adjustment, which automatically changes during the cutting cycle to ensure maximum cutting performance and efficiency across a material's changing cross-section - for example, with structural beams and columns

The first of the Behringer HBM SC and Kaltenbach KBS 1051 models arrive in the UK mid 2010. Machine performance data and video presentations for these machines will be provided at MACH 2010 and visitors will be able to pre-register to attend special Kaltenbach in-house live machine demonstrations, at the company's Bedford facilities.

Kaltenbach will promote its "scrappage scheme", which provides for various discount part-exchange allowances against Kaltenbach supplied saws, when purchasing from a wide range of new standard bandsaw and circular saws.

Kaltenbach's nationwide service engineering team will also be spotlighted for its exclusive support contracts that help assure customer production continuity and maximise extended machine life.
