Inspection Solutions from Vision Engineering at MACH 2010

  • Inspection Solutions from Vision Engineering at MACH 2010
Vision Engineering will be showcasing the Falcon video measuring solution and the Mantis Elite-Cam at MACH 2010, on stand 5638.

The Falcon video measuring solution with CNC is a powerful compact machine, suited to a wide range of measuring applications including 3-axis measurement of precision machined component parts. The system features a CAD import and export facility, and advanced data analysis, including PC software integration.

With touchscreen technology, the Falcon can be programmed easily to enable repeatable and accurate micron-level measurement, while a CNC capability allows users to benefit from an automated measurement facility.

The Mantis Elite-Cam is an award-winning stereo inspection system having an eyepieceless viewing head and a built-in camera for digital image capture, with onscreen measurement software. The Mantis Elite-Cam with onscreen measurement has high quality optics and high resolution viewing head, allowing components to be inspected, reworked, digitally captured and measured on screen within minutes.

Established in 1958, Vision Engineering designs and manufactures eyepieceless and expanded pupil microscopes for laboratory and industrial applications. More than 300,000 systems have been installed world-wide for inspection and measurement tasks. The company's headquarters are in Woking, Surrey, with manufacturing facilities in the US and UK.
