Geo appoints AM manager

Martin Hamill has been appointed as business development manager for the new Additive Technologies division at machine tool sales company Geo Kingsbury.

Based in the firm's Warwick office, he is responsible for generating sales of Geo Kingsbury's agency line of additive manufacturing (AM) systems built by AddUp, France, a joint venture between Michelin and Fives Industrial Group.

The markets covered by the agency agreement are the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.

He says: "I am delighted to be working with Geo Kingsbury to bring Addup additive manufacturing solutions to the UK and Ireland. Addup offers industry's first production-ready metal additive manufacturing solution, built using Michelin's unrivalled experience in part production and material processing. It means we will be at the forefront of this exciting growth industry, which perfectly complements Geo Kingsbury's long-established expertise in subtractive machining and manufacturing."
