GE CNC and Fanuc Service have merged to form Fanuc CNC UK

  • GE CNC and Fanuc Service have merged to form Fanuc CNC UK
Following the dissolution of the 23 year joint venture between FANUC and GE in 2009, GE CNC and Fanuc Service have merged to form Fanuc CNC UK.

Headquartered in Ruislip, with Andrew Myhill as general manager, Fanuc CNC UK will provide service and support to machine tool builders, dealers, integrators and users.

In the UK, over 30,000 Fanuc CNC controls are installed in machine tools and users of those machine tools will benefit from the many synergies of the two merged companies such as a larger geographical service network, combined know-how and more efficient teams.

Fast and highly qualified help with CNC problems, a highly competent service team and a large stock of original parts available, means the 'first-time fix rate' (problem resolved with a single visit) is over 90 per cent, reducing customer costs.

Machine optimisation can be achieved by Fanuc CNC UK application specialists or through their training courses.
