FUCHS UK has won a three-year contact to supply machining fluids and lubricants to CAV Aerospace.

CAV Aerospace is a world leader in machining, assembling and supplying components for the aerospace and optical industries and is a sub-contractor to Airbus. CAV Aerospace employs over 400 people within the UK and has three manufacturing plants in the UK – Consett, Leicester and Llantrisant – as well as a design facility in Manchester and a regional distribution centre in Chester.

Les Parker, group health and safety manager, and Mike Westwood group purchasing manager at CAV Aerospace, confirmed: “FUCHS was chosen over other suppliers because of their commitment to CAV, the quality of their products and their excellent levels of service. We look forward to developing a healthy, and ultimately profitable, business relationship with FUCHS in the future.”
