Ficep exhibit steel processing machines at MACH 2010

  • Ficep exhibit steel processing machines at MACH 2010
Ficep UK will be exhibiting their Gemini 254 PG and their 601 DE Excalibur 6, steel processing machines, on stand 4740, at MACH 2010.

The Gemini 254 PG is a flexible multi-function system for profile cutting, drilling, machining and scribing, with a bevelling capability, using either HT2000 or HPR260 Hypertherm plasma systems. This compact footprint machine can produce flat metal parts from plate, 5 mm to 75 mm thick, in one set-up.

The 601 DE Excalibur 6 outperforms manual methods of drilling for the smaller fabricator and can provide additional capacity for companies looking for a low cost solution to increase their productivity. This drilling line features a movable spindle that rapidly travels the entire length of the material and can drill a hole, up to 40 mm in diameter, every 5 seconds. The versatility of this CNC system makes it suited for flange drilling, web drilling, angles, plate detail and structural tubes, up to 610 mm high and 610 mm wide.
