Extensive display for MACH 2010 from Ward CNC

Ward CNC, of Sheffield, will have at least 12 machines on its 500 m² stand (Hall 5, Stand 5350), the largest display area the company has ever booked for a MACH show.

The size of Ward CNC's stand at MACH 2010 and its commitment to the industry are based on a strong order book, an enhanced product range and, expanding sales and service teams.

As the exclusive UK distributor for Hankook (horizontal and vertical lathes), Hartford (double-column and open fronted machining centres), Hyundai-Kia (turning and machining centres), Soraluce (traveling column/table milling centres) and Union (horizontal boring and milling machines), Ward CNC will be displaying the following at MACH 2010:-

Hyundai-Kia
• SKT 160/180 TTSY – multi-tasking twin-spindle turning centre (maximum turning diameter and length of 230 mm and 700 mm, respectively);
• SKT 21LMS – CNC lathe with c-axis, driven tools and sub-spindle (550 mm and 530 mm);
• SKT 700LM – large capacity slant bed CNC lathe (920 mm and 3,250 mm);
• SKT 2100 SY – multi-tasking mill turn centre with Y-axis (335 mm and 455 mm);
• Hi-V560M high-speed (optionally 40,000 revs/min) vertical machining centre (X, Y, Z axes of 1,000 mm by 560 mm by 450 mm);
• HS-500 – twin-pallet horizontal machining centre (850 mm by 700 mm by 750 mm).

Hankook
• Protec 9NC x 4000 heavy-duty flat bed lathe (950 mm swing over the bed and 630 mm over the cross slide);
• VTC-100 compact, high-performance vertical lathe (maximum turning diameter and height of 1,250 mm and 800 mm).

Hartford
• 3 m double-column vertical machining centre (the 3,060 mm by 1,560 mm by 780/1,070 mm X, Y, Z Blockbuster Pro-3150 or the Mirage HEP-3150, a machine with X, Y and Z axes of 3,250 mm by 1,500 mm by 780 mm);
• Tornado HCMC-15 heavy duty vertical machining centre (1,500 mm by 820 mm by 700 mm);
• Power Centre Pro-1000 vertical machining centre (1,000 mm by 600 mm by 510/630 mm).

Soraluce
• TA-35A traveling-table ram-type CNC milling machine (X, Y, Z axes of 3,500 mm by 1,250 mm by 1,000 mm).
