ESPRIT 2000 series CAM gets capability boost

  • ESPRIT 2000 series CAM gets capability boost
ESPRIT CAM author DP Technology is extending the solid modelling capabilities of its 2000 series software.

DP Technology recently signed an agreement with Siemens PLM Software to extend the use of the 3D Parasolid solid modelling software.

The standard base license of the ESPRIT 2000 series will now utilise Parasolid Designer level functionality as standard – it was previously an option.

In addition, ESPRIT Mold will, for the first time, have Parasolid Communicator as part of its standard base license.

This move offers significantly more modelling and interoperability capabilities within the ESPRIT base license, according to Chuck Mathews, DP’s vice president. “Interoperatbility that was previously unavailable within ESPRIT Mold and advanced modelling capabilities that were optionally available at additional cost are now both included within the base product. The change provides our customers with significantly more capability and value.”
