Engineering Technology Group Open House to highlight new developments

Three new ‘UK’ machining cell launches and the first showcase of HK Technologies’ latest 3D printing, EDM and laser marking technology will be the main highlights of Engineering Technology Group’s Open House in October (2-3).

Over 150 industry delegates are expected to attend the two-day ‘Discover Turnkey Excellence’ event at its Wellesbourne Headquarters, with the emphasis on highlighting new advancements in CNC machining and additive manufacturing as more manufacturers explore bespoke production solutions.

They will be able to get a first-look at live production demonstrations on the new Quaser UX500 twin-pallet machine (with 15k to 24k rpm spindle), the Nakamura MX100 (a fusion between a 5-axis machining centre and a lathe) and the Bavius TR80 machining centre, which offers dynamic 5-axis simultaneous machining on steel and titanium.

Following the recent acquisition of HK Technologies, ETG has added several new ranges to its portfolio and these will also be on display, including Markforged and 3D Systems for 3D printing/additive manufacturing, and Mitsubishi and OPS Ingersoll with their latest EDM offerings.
