Dean Smith & Grace has new owner

Following the entering of administration of Keighley-based Dean Smith & Grace, the company has been acquired by Newsmith Stainless Limited from Roberttown, West Yorkshire.

A new company has been established - Dean Smith & Grace Lathes UK Limited – and is offering spares, service, machine refurbishment and new machine build services for Dean Smith & Grace machines. The existing telephone number (01535 605261), fax number (01535 680921) and email address (info@deansmithandgrace.co.uk) have all been retained.

The new company, which retains many of the existing skilled personnel from Dean Smith and Grace, has title to the intellectual property, existing drawings, parts lists, casting moulds etc.

Newsmith Stainless Ltd has a long history of engineering excellence and currently employs 150 people on three sites in the North of England.
