Crown Oil now a distributor of Q8 coolants and cutting oils

Crown Oil, a major supplier of lubricants and road fuel to all branches of industry, has become an authorised distributor of advanced lubricants from Q8Oils.

The company will be able to supply a complete range of the Q8Oils branded cutting and cooling fluids, lubricants and greases to complement the Crown Oil range of lubricants manufactured at the company's blending plant in Bury Lancashire.

Mark Andrews, Crown Oil group general manager explained: "Q8Oils produce premium quality cutting and cooling fluids for engineering, as well as high quality general lubrication products. These products carry extensive technical approvals and meet the demands of manufacturers for high productivity with health and safety.

"Q8Oils cutting fluids, for example, have a high cooling capacity, are compatible with multi-metal workshops, suitable for use on high speed modern machining centres, contain no hazardous chemicals and are bio-stable to protect the operator from bio-hazards. This is a new market segment for Crown Oil and one that fits comfortably within our existing business."
