CGTech reports global growth of 30% for 2011

Metalcutting and composite machine CNC program simulation software expert CGTech reports significant international growth in 2011, with revenue increasing around 30% across the globe, and with all CGTech world-wide companies reporting positive growth against 2010 figures.

Strong growth has been seen the in UK and Russia, as well as emerging technology countries such as China and Brazil. Mature manufacturing economies, such as Japan, also witnessed positive growth. Manufacturing companies that lead the demand for the process security and integrity provided by CGTech's VERICUT software include structural and propulsion aerospace component suppliers, and those supporting the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. And with the inclusion of its comprehensive Composite Application Suite, every manufacturing industry sector can now benefit from the powerful CNC verification, optimisation and manufacturing simulation software VERICUT, says the company.

VERICUT is CNC machine simulation, verification and optimisation software that enables users to totally eliminate the process of manually proving-out NC programs. It provides full simulation for fast and accurate collision checking between machine components and part setup; G-code program syntax, logic and format checking; simulation of complex machines, setups and machining configurations; and optimisation of cutting feeds and speeds based on cut-by-cut tool engagement. It also optimises NC programs in order to produce more efficient tool paths that save time, produce higher quality surface finishes, and prolong tool life.

VERICUT operates either standalone or integrated with leading CAM systems such as Dassault Systemes Catia, Siemens NX, Pro/E, MasterCAM, Vero EdgeCAM, Delcam PowerMill and Open Mind Hypermill. CGTech's position as the world leader in CNC simulation is evidenced by more CAM systems writing interfaces to VERICUT.

Recent additions include Delcam FeatureCAM, Missler TopSolidCAM and Solid CAM.
