Citizen and Miyano demonstrate complex machining cycles at open house
One-stop turn-milling technology is the theme for Citizen and Miyano Machinery's Open House (21-23 September 2010, Bushey, Watford) with the launch of the Miyano BNJ-3 Series fixed head turning centre and the first production versions of the 'E' for Evolution Citizen K-16 and L20 sliding head turn-mill centres.
With a total of seven Citizen and Miyano machines demonstrating complex machining cycles at the three-day event, high emphasis is being placed on the reduction of non-cutting or 'dead' time in a machining cycle.
Key suppliers have also been invited to participate, showing how they can help to advance productivity with a wide variety of tooling, accessories, automation and software. The companies include: Sandvik Coromant; Iscar Tools; Floyd Automatic Tooling; Kitagawa/IEMCA; LNS Turbo; Hainbuch and Prospec Systems.
Further details on the three-day event are available in the events section here.
