The Carfulan Group, which includes OGP UK, Sys Systems, Zoller UK and ViciVision UK, will show multi-sensor metrology, turned-part measurement, 3D printing, and tool pre-setting and inspection technologies at the forthcoming Advanced Engineering show (NEC, 31 October to 1 November). The group will be located on Stand P10.

OGP UK will be displaying its flagship Vantage 300 at the show, a machine that makes data collection available in real time. Zoller UK, meanwhile, will focus on its smartCheck, a tool inspection and measurement machine designed for all cutting tools, enabling checking before and after the sharpening process. According to Zoller, the machine guarantees productivity gains from CNC grinding machines.

As a UK Stratasys platinum partner, SYS Systems has been at the forefront of the 3D-printing movement for more than a decade, supplying, installing and supporting the full Stratasys product range. SYS will be bringing along a printer from its F-series to Advanced Engineering, a machine that combines FDM technology with GrabCAD design-to-print software.

Finally, ViciVision UK will have an M306 on the stand, an optical, non-contact measuring machine for cylindrical parts such as shafts, valves, screws and threaded inserts.

In other news, the Carfulan Group has taken ownership of a fifth company after it was appointed the first worldwide partner of Israel-based XJet. Under the name XJ3D, Carfulan will supply XJet’s trademarked NanoParticle jetting technology, which is capable of 3D-printing geometrically complex ceramic and metal parts.
