Bystronic UK combines operations in Coventry

Bystronic UK has brought together its Leeds and Chard sites at a new facility in Coventry.

The new building, which combines showroom, spares stores, offices and training facilities, officially opens for business on 4 January, 2010.

Located close to Junction 3 of the M6, the central location means that most of its customers now fall within a 2 ½ hour journey, while the closeness of Birmingham airport was another factor in choosing the location, says the company.

There will be an official opening in the spring, which will also coincide with a centennial celebration relating to press brake and guillotine specialist FJ Edwards, which was acquired by Bystronic.
