Aqueous cleaning solutions and wastewater treatment at MACH 2010

  • Aqueous cleaning solutions and wastewater treatment at MACH 2010
Aqueous-based component cleaning specialist, MecWash Systems and its dedicated wastewater treatment division, Aqua-Save Technologies, are using MACH 2010 to present important equipment developments, on show for the first time in the UK, at stand 5549.

The Aqua-Save Junior 2 waste water treatment system uses evaporation to process a range of wastewaters, from machining coolants through to floor scrubbings and compressor condensate, to reduce disposal requirements, water usage and, therefore, costs.

Handling up to 15 litres of waste solution per hour, once separated, typically only 5 per cent of the original solution volume needs to be removed from site with the rest available for re-use or, with appropriate permissions, discharge to drain.

Alongside this, MecWash Systems is showing the MecWash Duo for the first time at the show. The unit features a twin wash and rinse tank design and is able to deliver both a high volume, immersion and spray wash stage, and a powerful spray rinse stage, plus hot air dry.
