Anthony Westwood, 42, has been appointed as technical sales engineer for Mollart Engineering covering England and Wales as the Chessington-based company further expands its subcontract and tooling operations. As part of his responsibility, Westwood will also provide customer support to the deep-hole drilling and honing machine sales operations in the area.

Says managing director Ian Petitt: “Anthony brings a strong commercial background to our sales team having been previously involved in industrial product sales for a company headquartered in mainland Europe.”

Westwood is apprentice served and based in Doncaster. His location will provide easy access to support Mollart’s existing customer base for subcontract machining, assembly and tool supply. This factor will be particular relevant to the north and Midlands areas for the oil and gas, hydraulics, subsea, defence, automotive and medical sectors, as well as general engineering. Westwood is also tasked with drawing in new customers and potential new sectors able to benefit from Mollart’s growing specialist capability.

Following the recent agency agreement with honing specialist Ohio Tool Company for the supply of vertical and horizontal honing machines, plus associated tooling and abrasives, Westwood will support a wide product portfolio covering all aspects of hole production, including recessing and surface finishing. Mollart also represents Botek, a specialist in deep-hole drilling tooling, plus Elliott and Ecoroll roller burnishing, and Bencere for deburring and back-facing tools.
