Cleaner cleaning

The arrival of the SED on 31 October signalled a new dawn for manufacturing companies across the UK. The days of open-top solvent degreasing tanks are being confined to the history books, and written documentation detailing the restriction of solvent use in business practice by October 2008 should now be in place. If your company has yet to change to a safer alternative then you will be in breach of the new legislation and could face stiff penalties.
