ACI (UK) joins GTMA 05/06/2007

Measurement and control specialist ACI (UK) has joined the Gauge and Toolmakers Association (GTMA).

While managing director Phil Goulding highlights that the functionality of all the company’s products align with the accuracy demands inherent in the toolmaking sector – and regards the GTMA as “one of our most proactive trade associations” - he points out that the Metronics Gage-Chek DRO, in particular, is consistently being successfully applied in a wide range of ‘go/no-go’ tolerance check applications throughout the tool and mouldmaking sector, for example.

“Gage-Chek is the simpler, lower-cost alternative to co-ordinate measuring machines for a host of components where repetitive multi-gauge inspection of relatively simple parts, often families of parts, are required,” he says.

Accommodating up to eight encoder or LVDT/Half Bridge inputs - including length gauges, and linear and rotary encoders, as well as a wide range of measuring instruments – Gage-Chek is able to measure up to 16 dimensions per part.
