Matsuura adds two more agencies 23/03/2007
 
horizontal borers, VTL Matsuura Machinery has won sole UK distributorship for Kuraki horizontal borers and O-M vertical turning lathes (VTLs).

Kuraki Co is a Japanese builder of large capacity CNC horizontal boring mills, established in 1938 and headquartered in Nagaoka City in the Niigata prefecture of Japan.

Horizontal boring mill production started in 1961 with the company starting to export these in 1968.

O-M is based in Osaka, Japan and was established in 1949. Since the early 1960s, the company has been a leading producer of heavy duty, high accuracy VTLs.

The new agencies join Matsuura's extensive portfolio of products, which takes in machine tools from Niigata, Stama, Muratec Murata, Shin Nippon Koki, and Romi plus toolholding solutions from Mizoguchi Corporation and Big Daishowa.
