XYZ Machine Tools' quality procedures pass the test 22/03/2007

quality procedures, quality assurance, CNC machine tools XYZ Machine Tools has won accreditation to ISO 9001:2000.

“It was very reassuring to find that we were not too far off the mark,” says Martin Burton, XYZ Machine Tools’ manufacturing and quality manager, referring to the early stages of the Burlescombe, Devon machine tool distributor’s drive for accreditation to ISO 9001:2000. “The quality management procedures already in place combined with the help of specialist consultancy SWQS and the co-operation of the entire team here at XYZ then enabled us to achieve our objective ahead of schedule.

“Accreditation to this internationally recognised quality standard is becoming increasingly significant as more and more customers look for the reassurance of complete traceability in the products they buy. XYZ Machine Tools has a proven track record for the quality of its products and the high standard of its after-sales service and support. Accreditation to ISO 9001:2000 confirms that these aspects are backed by an equally strong commitment to ensuring that everyone within XYZ is working to clearly defined quality procedures.”
