Heidenhain DRO trade-in deal extended 06/03/2007

digital readouts for CNC machine tools Heidenhain has extended its £200 trade-in offer for any DRO system, from any manufacturer, in any condition, that is being replaced by a new Heidenhain 2- or 3-axis DRO system.

DROs have been in operation in excess of 25 years and are no different from any other piece of equipment in that they require maintenance and repair. With many of these older systems, the spare parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find and, given the advances in technology the time and effort involved in repairing these old systems can often be seen as false economy.

By offering this £200 trade-in, Heidenhain is easing the transition from old to new technology and helping to breathe new life into machine tools that can still be a valuable and important asset in the workshop.
