Successful year posted by ACI (UK) 25/01/2007

digital readouts, CNC units for machine tools, CNC retrofit Measurement and control specialist ACI (UK) reports a sales volume increase of 43 per cent for 2006 Acu-Rite and Anilam CNC sales.

And after including DRO activity, total product volume sales were 22 per cent higher than in 2005 (10 per cent ahead of budget) following quarterly growth of 6 per cent on average.

“Increased market confidence combined with our focused distribution channels and the continual development of cost-competitive quality products,” are factors cited by managing director Phil Goulding. And while he adds that " there is no doubt that an increasing number of users are buying new rather than repairing very old equipment, CNC upgrades and retrofits - of suitable machines - still account for around 25 per cent of our CNC sales."
