Kumi Solutions is the UK agent for the Pero range of solvent and aqueous-based component cleaning equipment.
Pero’s latest solvent-based machines represent a significant step forward in cleaning technology as the machines are 'universal' – operating on almost any type of solvent from chlorinated hydrocarbons such as trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene through to methylene chloride, modified alcohols such as Dowclene 1601 and any standard hydrocarbons, ie A3 category products with a flash point in excess of 55°C. The machines comply with current legislation as well as the new Solvent Emissions Directive set to come into force in October this year.
Based in Germany, Pero has been specialising in the manufacture of this type of equipment for 50 years and has installations around the globe at many high profile clients including Tenable Screw, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney and VW. Although still a family-owned business, Pero has grown to generate annual turnover in the region of €15 million.
Kumi, established in 2002, is also the sole UK agent for Fässler hard broaching, gear honing and grinding machines, as well as Picco semi or fully automatic deburring systems.
