Fuji production lathes available from 600 Centre October 2006

Fuji production lathes Fuji Machine Manufacturing Company production lathes are now available from 600 Centre.

Fuji machines are geared to volume production of chuck-based parts, they are modular in construction with horizontal or vertical, single and twin-spindle variants and offer turret and platen tooling arrangements. There are also specialist solution machines for crank and camshaft machining and a high productivity, four-axis chuck-based milling cell. This configuration of milling cell with six-, 10- or 15-station turrets combined with the optional b-axis tool, provides a 5-face machining capability allowing angular features to be included within a ‘one-hit’ cycle.

Throughout the range, robotics and automation form a strong element in the application providing ultra high-speed loading, as well as gantry and robotic transfer between linked machines. Fully automated cells for turning and mill/turning with in-process and post-process measurement with feed back correction can be supplied.
