ITC 4081 endmill targets difficult-to-cut materials with radical design August 2006

cutting tools, endmill cutter, cutting tools for machine tools Aimed at difficult-to-cut materials, such as aerospace alloys, the 4081 series is an AlTin-coated, four-flute solid carbide endmill with a harmonic flute geometry that provides excellent swarf evacuation, delivers exceptional stability and metal removal rates, while flute spacing significantly reduces machining noise by eliminating the harmonic effect.

The single, square end straight shank 4081 series with right-hand helix has a radical unequal flute spacing that is the result of extensive research and development.

The 4081 series is available in a diameter range from 3 to 32 mm with a length of cut ranging from 9 to 60 mm. Overall length is from 58 to 160 mm with either a square end or a radius up to 4 mm, dependant upon the selected diameter.
