First half sales up for ACI (UK) 04/08/2006

Increased half-year sales are reported by ACI (UK) for the ranges of Acu-Rite, Anilam and Quadra-Chek Metronics digital readouts (DROs) and computer numerical control systems.

ACI (UK) managing director Phil Goulding reports that volume sales for Acu-Rite and Anilam CNC systems rose 58 per cent in the period January to June 2006 compared with the previous half-year, while Acu-Rite and Anilam DRO sales increased by 24 per cent during the same period.

In addition, sales of the Quadra-Chek Metronics measuring and inspection DRO systems during the first half of this year rose by 40 per cent over the last six months of 2005.

“While these figures show that the marketplace is buoyant,” said Mr Goulding, “at ACI (UK) we are in no doubt that our launch earlier this year of new Acu-Rite and Anilam Wizard DROs, coupled with innovative glass linear encoder technology, has also had a major influence on customers that want high-performance machine control at a cost-effective price. In addition, our effective partnerships with a network of distributors as well as resale OEMs and OEIs (original equipment importers) have contributed massively to our continued success.”
