Hinge clamp boasts revolutionary kinematics July 2006

workholding, clamp units, clamps A new hinge clamp range uses revolutionary kinematics to offer double-acting, low-cost hydraulic clamping with numerous mounting and connection options.

The clamping lever is completely retractable; a metal wiper stops any ingress of swarf or coolant penetrating the working area of the clamp; the range includes a partially-immersed body, with position control available as inductive or passive within the clamping range; there are virtually no cross loads applied to the work piece, especially when clamping delicate or sensitive parts; and the range will operate at up to 250 bar and deliver up to 4 kN.
