Laser profiler has 5 G acceleration - is 3 times faster than predecessors May 2006

The new FOL 3015 NT is a super-fast 4.5 kW machine boasting 5 G acceleration and a top axis speed of 340 m/min with a top cutting speed of 60 m/min.

The machine is claimed to be three times faster than its predecessor and can process sheet 1,500 by 3,000 mm in thicknesses up to 20 mm in steel, 15 mm in stainless steel and 10 mm in aluminium. However, the increased speed of this machine is really of benefit on thinner gauges, says Amada UK.
