The machine includes as standard a three-sided vertical drop tank - a revolutionary design where the work tank retracts fully into the body of the unit, allowing easy machining of even larger work pieces. Both the AQ327L and AQ537L Premium packages also incorporate Sodick’s Super Pika fine finishing circuit, to produce surface finish down to Ra 0.1µm, which for many applications eliminates the need for subsequent polishing.
