Fighting for manufacturing 03/03/2006
 
Stephen Panke, MTA president (pictured), has seen it all
before; 19 years before, to be precise, for he was elected back in 1987 as the youngest-ever president of the then Machine Tool Trades Association (it then became the Machine Tool Technologies Association and, since three years ago, the MTA). In those 19 years more than the name changed.
