Piston maker’s CAM benefits 01/12/2005
 
Perfect Bore has been using EdgeCAM for a number of years for the finish machining of forged pistons but the ability to produce low volumes at short notice is an important part of the company’s strategy for growth. To do this, it needed to enhance its CAM software, explains Alan Baynes, the company’s manufacturing manager
