Birmingham-based Cincinnati Machine Limited has become MAG Maintenance UK Limited to reflect the development of the business.
 The change has been made to better reflect the position of the UK business that now provides sales and service to all of the MAG brands of machine tools. The extended brands under the MAG umbrella includes Boehringer, Cincinnati Machine, Fadal, FMS, Giddings & Lewis, Hessapp, Honsberg, Hueller Hille, Ex-Cell-O, Cross Hueller, Lamb, Witzig & Frank and many additional legacy brands of the MAG group. With the company supplying and servicing such a diverse range of, it was no longer feasible to work under the Cincinnati banner.
“The change of name better reflects the position of the company and the overall group within the UK machine tool industry,” said managing director, MAG Maintenance UK Limited, John Boyd. “MAG Maintenance UK Limited is a key supplier of maintenance and service contracts to machine tool users of all brands inside and outside the MAG Group. As well as providing essential controlled maintenance programs for customers, the sales operation no longer sells just one brand but a multitude of high end solutions for all industry sectors. Considering these factors, continuing with the Cincinnati Machine brand was no longer reflecting the company development and the diverse services that we bring to the market working under the MAG banner.”
