Matsuura's Open House event in May (12, 13, 14) takes its theme as 'unmanned multi-tasking CNC production'.
 The event will be the platform for two European product launches: the 5-axis, multi-pallet Cublex-42, a milling, turning, grinding unit, which offers zero set-up for chuck/fixture changes; and the H.Plus-405 horizontal machining centre, configured as a twin-pallet machine, offering more production possibilities and unmanned running in 12 per cent less floor space.
Industry partners at the event are: VERICUT (CGTech), CNC simulation software; Komet, cutting tools; GibbsCAM (Tech CADCAM), CADCAM software; Balluff, tool data chips; Zoller (Fenn Tool); Sandvik Coromant, cutting tools; ITC, cutting tools; and, CNC Fluids, coolant.
