Swiss grinding specialist Studer, Thun, handed over its 100th machine equipped with its EasyLoad system in mid-April
The machine, an S40 (pictured) was purchased by Josef Rees GmbH & Co. KG located in Wehingen, Southern Germany.
Up to now, Rees Zerspanungstechnik (cutting techniques) was mainly a contractor offering high-precision machining of complex turning work pieces. With the delivered machine it has laid the corner stone for expanding its business activities in the direction of grinding.
Studer is currently further developing the easyLoad concept further, so that additional machine types can be equipped for an increased work piece spectrum. With the EasyLoad XL, Studer has already realised a solution for a larger machines.
