3T RPD is putting a seminar to highlight the potential and benefits of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS).
 The seminar will take place on 7 October 2009, with SLS covered in the morning and DMLS in the afternoon. In between there will be a buffet lunch.
Registration is at 9.30am, with presentations concluding at around. 4.30pm.
Topics will include:
Ø Understanding SLS and DMLS to get the most out of them
Ø The benefits you can achieve from the technologies
Ø Applications that SLS and DMLS are good for, and those that they're not!
Ø Constraints and opportunities
Ø Materials and applications
Ø Designing for the SLS and DMLS processes
Ø Making sure your CAD data is of good quality
Ø Production opportunities
Ø How you can apply them to your Prototyping/Manufacturing requirements
There'll also be an opportunity to take a guided tour of the company's manufacturing facilities, seeing the processes in action, with technical experts on hand to discuss specific projects.
There is a registration fee of £25 per delegate, per day (inclusive of VAT), payable within 7 days of your registration.
