MCE Marketing of Carnoustie has been appointed official distributor for all Broadbent Stanley products in Scotland.

Scottish distributor for Broadbent Stanley

MCE Marketing‘s managing director, Tom Paterson, said: “We have good name in Scotland and were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the range of products Broadbent Stanley offer.

"Initially we were interested in the manual and CNC hollow spindle lathes to appeal to our customers in the north east, but now have a full complement of conventional and CNC lathes, CNC mills and vertical machining centres. We were not aware that the recently launched Yorky Oilfield and Rubber Roll Grinders were a Broadbent Stanley product.”

Also in Halifax-based Broadbent Stanley’s portfolio, is a range of teach lathes (pictured), manual and CNC vertical turning lathes, twin-column vertical machining centres with X axis strokes of up to 10,000 mm and a range of heavy duty, high performance plano mills. In addition, a rebuild service is offered for large machine tools.

A significant proportion of Broadbent Stanley’s new machine tool business is “turnkey” where the customer requires a full manufacturing solution rather than just a machine tool. Last year 72 per cent of all Broadbent Stanley machine orders were destined for export.
