Centreless Tooling Group now offers Weldon Solutions grinding machines 10/11/2008

Centreless Tooling Group has concluded an exclusive agency agreement with Weldon Solutions which sees the company representing the full range of CNC grinding machines from the American manufacturer.

“The Centreless Tooling Group has an enviable reputation for supplying re-engineered centreless grinding machines to customers across the globe,” said sales manager Mark Craddock. “Because customers are aware of our reputation, many of them approached us on our stand at the MACH 2008 exhibition to ask if we could provide high quality external grinding machines.”

This obvious need sparked discussions between the management team, and the group’s managing director and joint founder Sandra Baker entrusted Mr Craddock with the task of finding the right machine supplier to fulfill this opportunity.

The deal with Weldon Solutions was sealed at the recent Chicago IMTS exhibition held in September. “The quality of the Weldon machines appealed to us,” explained Mr Craddock. “Weldon follows the same philosophy as do we; working with customers to provide a complete solution. The company has already installed grinding machines in the UK, typically at large automotive and aerospace companies with a global manufacturing base. Working together with Weldon we can support these existing customers and also provide access for UK engineering companies seeking advanced grinding technology solutions.”

Denny Rowe, sales and marketing director for Weldon Solutions, says there is no conflict of interest between the two companies. “The Centreless Tooling Group is an established family-owned company with a history of providing and supporting grinding machines and processes. I was confident that we could work together so I asked Mark to visit the IMTS show to conclude the agency agreement. Now we can service, support and sell Weldon machines in the UK and Ireland.”
