Gamet Bearings has won an order valued at over £162,000 from a Spanish machine tool manufacturer.
For use in dual ended turning centres which operate with a chuck in both the headstock and tail stock, the order was placed following successful trials.
The order is for three types of bearings, which range in size from 450 mm to 506 mm ID, having a radial load bearing capacity of up to 350 kN, an axial load bearing capacity of up to 240 kN, and an accuracy of better than 10 microns.
