Fine, clean and straight laser welding wires October 2008

Rofin has now sourced a range of fine, clean and straight laser welding wires to suit the needs of UK laser welders. It includes: tool steels (H-13 and P-20); stainless steels (316 and 420); aluminium alloys (AlSi12); titanium (grades 1, 2 or 5); and nickel alloys.

Typical diameters are between 0.2 and 0.6 mm with the most commonly used diameter being 0.4 mm. Rods are either 333 or 457 mm long depending on the material and diameter.

In addition to the range of materials and sizes listed above, other alloys and diameters are available upon request. Orders for these high quality wires will be dispatched and delivered to the customer within five working days often from stock.
